Still learning about all these technical terms, so I goggled it come up with the similarities and differences between a peer-to-peer network and a client-server network are peer-to-peer network is inexpensive to set up and are installed where the employee most interacts regularly. Client-Server networks are as big or as little as you need, in some cases it has supported millions of users and ultimately can be really expensive to support and install. It says the concept behind the peer-to-peer networking is to be able to share all your files and use the same printers as cheap as possible. Seems though having a Peer-to-peer network you are exposing yourself, it has no central security or any way to change your settings, that it can’t control what is shared on the network. 4. Describe two hypothetical situations, one in which a peer-to-peer network would be most appropriate and one in which a client-server network would be most appropriate, and explain why the particular network type would be most appropriate for that case. In one of my previous jobs I worked for an eye doctor, the best thing for her when setting up her office is to build a peer-to-peer network. We had a total of 5 people that worked in the office, by doing the peer-to-peer network it is inexpensive and it will get the job done. We don’t need a lot being a small company and we shared the network drive for the patient files and printed to the same printer. For the Client-Server Network, it would be for a company that I work for right now and that is Amazon.com, this building has about 3,000 employees that need to log into a computer to either process a customer order, get the order for the shelves or ship it out. So they will most definitely need a larger server to maintain the largely group of people on one network.

Stone Temple Pilots Alright, so here is what I know about STP. The Stone Temple Pilots are a band that was formed in San Diego in 1988. Weiland hooked up with Robert Deleo at a show in California and then picked up Eric Kretz. and then after finally convincing Dean Deleo to come to California They were officially known as Mighty Joe Young. They recieved their first gig in 1990 in a place in L.A. After a couple of years they got a big show in L.A. They hired agent Don Muller and he told atlantic about Mighty Joe Young. After a while the band signed with Atlantic. Unfortunately during recording Mighty Joe Young was told that a singer had already taken the name Mighty Joe Young. After about a month the band came up with Stone Temple Pilots. Finally The band finished their album CORE in september 1992 and it went platinum. it was followed by a second release PURPLE two years later which also was a big hit and with the Herion addictions aside, Stone Temple Pilots is one of the best bandson the planet- or any planet..Early labels of Pearl Jam Wannabees or Nirvana soundalikes have long since disspated, and Weiland and the boys have created a wall of sound all their own..Sometimes an all outfrenzy of driving energy- (Sex Type Thing, Meatplow, Trippin on a Holein a Paper Heart), to the more subdued tracks of Creep, Pretty Penny, and Big Empty. The STP trademark sound can be best heard on Plush, and Interstate Love Song..Classic Rock and Roll for the new generation.. This band has it all- variety, talent, harmony, lyrics and a great overall concept for each album released.. It would be hard for me to say whichalbum is the "best" as each carries with it its own style andflavor. Core is STP's forray into "pop" culture carving out an immmediate presence in the "alternative" arena..Next, came Purple- although sales were not quite as impressive as their first, this album dives into new territory for the band..Best tracks include Insterstate Love Song, Vasoline, Big Empty, and Pretty Penny. When composing the Constitution in 1789, the Founding Fathers were anxious to stress that the executive branch of the new republic was to be subordinate to the peoples’ representation, the Congress. They achieved this through the Separation of Powers, a theory of government thought up by the French philosopher Montesquieu to prevent over-mighty or tyrannical government. The elaborate system of ‘checks and balances’ introduced greatly reduced the traditional authority of the executive, leaving some to argue that U.  S. presidents have been left with very little power, if only the power of persuasion. However to what extent is this true? Theodore Roosevelt famously stated that he was both â€Å"king and prime minister†, even though other presidents, such as Johnson and Truman have stressed the weakness of the presidency. The argument that presidents have only the power to persuade can be seen in many of the formal powers of the president laid out in Article II of the Constitution. This can perhaps best be seen in his powers of nomination, both for federal judges and executive branch officials. The president has only the power to suggest appointments to these positions; the final confirmation of the president’s choice lies with Congress. This will sometimes mean lengthy negotiations between the branches of government, with the president using his ‘pork barrel’ in an attempt to win over Senators. In 1987, Reagan’s nomination of Robert Bork was rejected by a Senate vote of 42 to 58, resulting in embarrassment for both the president and his nominee. Reagan was unable to do anything about this, other than to suggest a new nominee in the hope that they would be accepted instead. The president’s power of persuasion is also illustrated by his role as chief diplomat for the United States. In this position, he negotiates major treaties with foreign countries, such Carter’s Panama Canal Treaty or Bush Snr. ’s Chemical Weapons Ban. Even so, it is the job of the Congress to ratify the treaty; it has no legal authority until it has been accepted by the Senate with a two-thirds majority. As such, the president can only persuade the Senate to accept it, arguing for its merits or using his limited access to patronage. For instance, the Treaty of Versailles drawn up President Wilson in the aftermath of the First World War was rejected by the Senate, resulting in America being unable to join the League of Nations, a ‘pet-project’ of the President. Later in the C20th, the Senate refused to ratify a further six treaties, which presidents such as Eisenhower (1960) and Clinton (1999) had worked hard on the international stage to achieve. Similarly, the president’s powers to submit the annual budget and propose legislation both require Congressional action if they are to have any authority. The president’s State of the Union address comprises key pieces of legislation which the president would like to be introduced (such as more green jobs and banking regulations seen in Obama’s 2010 address). However, this is meaningless unless they are introduced to and accepted by Congress, a process that requires the president to act tactfully using bipartisanship to persuade Congressmen and Senators to follow his proposals.
